April Doll Quilt

I finished my April Doll Quilt and dropped it in the mail for my partner this morning. We decided to try to make something we had never made before. I made a Martha Washington Star block and set it on point, neither of which I have done before or in the case of the latter, done correctly :).

My partner described her color likes as browns, olives, blues, dark reds and golds, she also commented that she didn’t like “girly” colors. So here is what I came up with.

I am really happy with the way it turned out, I think I did a pretty good job and I hope my partner likes it!!
